December Lunch & Learn
We just checked and YES the Puerto Rico Restaurant will be open on the 26th of December. We’ll gather the day after Christmas for our monthly networking and learning. Coffee With the Chief
This month we sat down with Chad McCluskey the Public Safety Director and Chief of Police for Windsor Heights at his first “Coffee with the Chief”. We discussed community policing, automated traffic cameras and how Your Chamber might better assist the police and fire department. And, of course, we were at our member Grounds for Celebration.
Join us for a joint Legislative Breakfast on Tuesday the 8th of January as we welcome members from West Des Moines, Clive, Waukee and Windsor Heights Chambers. The event will take place at our member site The Sherwood Forest Event Center starting with breakfast from member the Windsor Heights HyVee at 7:30AM. The Sherwood Forest Event Center is at 7400 Hickman Road. All of the legislators serving the four cities have been invited to attend. Tickets are required and here is that link.
Windsor Heights Chamber Board Meeting
Each month your Windsor Heights Chamber Board meets to discuss programs and ways in which we can assist our current and future members. Usually we meet on the First Friday of the Month but due to conflicts the January meeting has been moved to 11 January the second Friday.
Iowa Legislative Reception
Your Windsor Heights Chamber will, once again, take part in the Iowa Legislative Reception which will be held at the State Historical Building on 14 January. Each member chamber of the Greater Des Moines Partnership, now numbering 24, will be on hand to welcome the legislature back to work.

Jonathan Koester, Chairman of the Board – Jonathan owns Koester Development is our outgoing president and will retain a seat on the Board.
